DaNang

We are here.  A 14 hour flight from Chicago to Seoul, then a 3.5 hour layover in the beautiful Incheon International Airport - so new and clean.  Then a 5 hour 45 minute flight to DaNang.  Got through customs without problem (well, they did look through Betsy's luggage due the spiral bound notebooks she was carrying) and Tam was waiting for us when we got through Custons.  With a great van and driver. Global Community Service Foundation and Global Spectrum/Global Friends Co.Ltd has made all of the arrangements for this mission and, so far, everything is amazing.  Our hotel, the Bamboo Green Riverside Hotel, is right on the River Han and we are right across the street from the Han River Bridge.  All lit up and quite the site.

It is Sunday morning 0046 in the morning.  We are meeting Tam at 1000 tomorrow to head to Khe Sanh - about 5.5 hour drive.  We will stop by the GCSF offices in Dong Ha to pick up all of the HBB equipment that we had sent from China.  The adventure has started and we could not be happier.

The route from Chicago direct to Seoul.
